lazy outfit

this is such a lazy outfit post. but i think i was more interested in the photography aspect... i really wish i had a model at home, whom i could just store in a closet and pull out when needed=)

tohle oblečení mám na sobě tak trochu z lenosti. ale myslím si, že mě víc zajímají ty fotky samy o sobě... chtěla bych mít doma - třeba ve skříni - modelku, kterou bych mohla v případě potřeby vytáhnout a použít=)

thrift store adventures

 confession: today i went to a thrift store for the first time in my life. and BOY what i've been missing out on - it was like a treasure hunt! i actually went there because i was so uninspired by the regular high street stores... and found this amazing over-sized jumper, as in literally, it's a few sizes too big for me, but that's what makes it so awesome. also, the reason why i'm wearing shorts when it's like 15 degrees out is that i found a pair of weird-shaped black jeans (that i don't think i've ever seen before) in my closet, so i cut them up and had to wear them straight away=)

zpověď: dnes jsem šla poprvé v životě do sekáče. a TY JO, ani jsem nevěděla, o co přicházím - bylo to jako hledání pokladu! vlastně jsem tam šla, protože mě normální obchody vůbec neinspirovaly... a našla jsem tento úžasný obrovský svetr. jo, a šortky na sobě mám, i když je dnes asi 15 stupňů, protože jsem ve skříni našla divně tvarované černé džíny (o jejichž existenci jsem do dnes nevěděla), tak jsem je rozstříhala a samozřejmě jsem si je hned musela vzít na sebe=)

miluji jejich kampaň na podzim / zimu '10... vy snad ne?

i also have my eye on a pair of their suede boots. but the real reason i'm posting about gucci is because of a "petit histoire" that happened when i was in their store in hanoi - a gorgeous, elegant, gucci-bearing lady glided in, seemingly perfect... an image that was shattered the moment she started screaming her head off at one of the shop assistants in a jealous rage over some love affair, topping it off with a "i'm gonna follow you wherever you go, so don't think you're getting rid of me, b*!!!" lovely.

také u nich okoukávám jedny semyšové botičky. ale opravdový důvod, proč o gucci píšu, je malá story, která se odehrála, když jsem byla v jejich obchodě v hanoji. vešla krásná, elegantní dáma, oblečená v gucci a zdánlivě perfektní... do té doby, než nezačla řvát na jednu z prodavaček v žarlivém vzteku o jakési milostné pletce... ukončila svůj projev pěknou třešničkou na dortu: "budu tě pronásledovat, kamkoliv půjdeš, tak si k* nemysli, že se mě zbavíš!" krása.

lights, macaroons and fashion

today i discovered that the vietnamese drink beer with ice (evidently because of the local climate) - this being the most atrocious sin any real czech could ever imagine. i'm just saying. on the other hand, the food is to die for.

dnes jsem zjistila, že ve vietnamu se pije pivo s ledem (jistě kvůli zdejšímu podnebí), což je pro každého opravdového čecha hřích nejvyšší úrovně. jen konstatuji. na druhou stranu, jídlo je tu nesrovnatelně úžasné.

ok, i'm bored of not having anyone to photograph. so i'm making use of my remote control. the hotel robe is pretty + i kind of look like i'm floating in the first photo?

anyway. today i almost got ran over by a taxi, a bus and several motorbikes. crossing streets in hanoi is one heck of an adventure! on the bright side, i got to ride a nice big motorbike, how cool am i...=)

nemít nikoho na focení je nuda. tak jsem vytáhla dálkové ovládání na foťák. líbí se mi hotelový župan + v první fotce to vypadá tak, že se nadnáším...

takže... dnes mě málem přejel taxik, autobus a pár motorek. přecházení hanojských ulic je dobrodružství! na druhou stranu jsem se dnes na jedné obrovké motorce i projela. jsem hustá, co?=)

frenzy

a wonderful day today - though i did get lost in what seems like insanity that i've only ever seen in the west at a rock concert. i may have been to vietnam a zillion times before, but i have never before been to a supermarket here on a sunday. i thought i would get crushed in the stampede! here are a few photos from today (not from the supermarket, for fear of my dear camera's life).

dnes byl skvělý den - i když jsem se ztratila v šílenství, které jsem před tím na západě viděla jedině na rokovém koncertě. sice jsem ve vietnamu už byla snad milionkrát, ale nikdy jsem tu nebyla v neděli v supermarketu. myslela jsem si, že už se z davu nedostanu! tady je pár fotek ze dneška (ne ze supermaketu, bála jsem se o život mého drahého foťáku).

track back to the roots

after something like 18 hours on various planes / at various airports, i finally arrived in hanoi, VIETNAM, the land of my origins. well, half of them, anyway. slightly delirious from the heat, lack of sleep, or perhaps the glitz and glamour of the hotel, i haven't been up to much photography yet, but just you wait till i get my hand on that shutter release! in the mean time, here are a few more photos from that oh-so-long-ago photo shoot with my beautiful model, KRISTINA.

po přibližně 18 hodinách strávených na různých letištích / v různých letadlech jsem konečně dorazila do hanoje, ve VIETNAMu, země mého původu. tedy, alespoň půlky. lehce omámená horkem, nedostatkem spánku, či kouzlem hotelu, ještě jsem nestihla fotit, ale jen si počkejte na to, až dostanu ruku na spoušť! zatím přidávám další fotky z toho jaksi dávného focení s mojí krásnou modelkou KRISTINOU.

ok, ok i am ashamed of my blogging skills (or lack thereof)... on the bright side, i did a photo shoot with my beautiful friend kristina last weekend, of which i have edited a mere handful of photos, but here's a couple from the first batch... enjoy and have a great week ahead!

dobrá, stydím se za své blogařské schopnosti (či spíše za jejich nedostatek)... na druhou stranu jsem minulý týden nafotila svojí krásnou kamarádku kristinu. sice jsem zatím stihla upravit jen pár fotek, ale zde je menší ukázka... užijte si je a mějte krásný týden!
