et voila! photos from the opening of my first ever exhibition. between glass after glass of bubbly and trying not to topple off the killer heels, the experience was completely surreal. besides never having seen any of my photos in such large print before, to have them exhibited in the grandeur of the Fitzwilliam Museum was insane. 

the project itself was called Cambridge Faces, a portrait exhibition on the general theme of British Heritage. i chose Shakespeare as a more specific theme and picked a line out of 6 of his most renowned plays, which i then interpreted pictorially. the proceeds from the sales of the prints went to two charities and the video you see above is a preview of my part of the project. if you'd like to know more, please do go to: www.cambridgefaces.com

tak tady jsou fotky z otevírací oslavy mé první fotografické výstavy. mezi sklenkama šampaňského a snahou nezakopnout o své enormní podpadky to byl naprosto neskutečný zážitek. nejen že jsem ještě v životě neviděla své fotky vytisknuty v tak velkém formátu, mít je vystaveny v majestátném Fitzwilliam Muzeu bylo neuvěřitelné.

projekt se jmenoval Cambridge Faces - výstava portrétových fotografií, která byla na téma anglického dědictví. vybrala jsem si Shakespeara jako specifičtější téma, na čež jsem nafotila šest portrétů reprezentujících verš ze šesti jeho nejznámějších her. výnosy prodeje fotografií se rozdělili mezi dvěma charitami a video, které zde můžete shlédnout, je náhled mé části projektu. pokud byste rádi o projektu věděli více, stránky naleznete zde: www.cambridgefaces.com
